About the service
What is eLearning translation and localization?
eLearning translation is about converting the text of educational content (for example, on-screen copy, narration scripts, quizzes, feedback, and certificates) into another language or languages. eLearning localization goes further and customizes the whole learning experience, including examples, images, names, currencies, units, and compliance references, so learners feel the training and course were originally built for them, not converted for them.
Translating course content does not mean the job is done. Button text may expand, right-to-left languages should mirror the layout, narration must match on-screen timing, and the package has to track completion in your LMS. We handle the language, the media, and the rebuild in one project, so your team receives a training course that is ready to publish.

Translation + localization
What a localized course needs to work
A translated course only does its job when learners understand it, finish it, and your LMS records it.
Built in your authoring tool
We translate the Storyline, Rise, Captivate, and iSpring files through exported XLIFF files, then rebuild layouts where text has grown. Your team gets source files it can update, not flattened videos.
Usually needed for: Courses you will update, multi-language rollouts
Audio that matches the screen
Native voice talent records the narration, and we re-sync animations, slide timing, and subtitles so audio, text, and visuals stay together in every language.
Usually needed for: Narrated modules, video lessons
Learning that feels local
We adapt examples, names, images and currencies so scenarios feel real to local learners. The learning objective stays the same, so assessments remain fair in every language.
Usually needed for: Compliance, sales and soft-skills training
Tested in your LMS
We publish SCORM or xAPI packages and test them in your LMS or a test environment: navigation, quizzes, completion tracking and right-to-left display, before learners see them.
Usually needed for: Global rollouts, certification courses

e-learning translation questions
What is the difference between eLearning translation and localization?
Translation converts the words in your course. Localization adapts the whole experience: examples, images, names, units, currencies, and legal references, plus layout, audio, and LMS tracking. Most corporate training needs both, and we handle them in one project.
How much does eLearning translation cost?
Translation plus revision starts at $0.06 per word, and the rate depends on the language pair. Voice-over, video syncing, and course rebuilding are quoted once we see your files, and you get a fixed quote within 24 hours, so the full cost is agreed before we start.
Which authoring tools and formats do you work with?
We work in Articulate Storyline and Rise, Adobe Captivate, iSpring and Lectora, and with XLIFF exports from most other tools. We deliver SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004, or xAPI packages, plus the editable source files for your team.
Can you translate a SCORM package?
Sure, we can do that. You send the published package and, if available, the source project. We do the translation part, rebuild the course and republish it as SCORM or xAPI. Also, we test the navigation, quizzes and completion tracking. Without the source project, we can still work from the package, but layout fixes take longer.
Do you provide voice-over and subtitles for training videos?
Yes, that is available. We have professional voice talents who record the narration in each language the project requires. Then we sync it to animations and slide timing. For videos, you can choose voice-over, subtitles, or both, and on-screen text is translated so learners never see English mid-lesson.
How long does it take to localize a course?
Our team translates about 12,000 words per day, so the text of most courses is ready within days. Voice-over, rebuild and testing add time depending on the media, and large curricula are delivered module by module so you can launch in stages.
How do you keep quizzes and assessments fair across languages?
Questions are translated for meaning, not word for word, and a second linguist checks that every answer option stays equally clear. We avoid adding hints or ambiguity, so learners in every language face the same level of difficulty.
Can you update a course we already translated?
Yes. Translation memory stores every approved sentence, so when you update the English course we translate only what changed. Updates cost less, and terminology stays consistent with earlier versions.
