Eman Hussein Sayed

Eman Hussein Sayed is a Senior Arabic Translator and Localization Specialist at TranslationPartner with more than 20 years of experience in the translation and localization industry. Over the course of her career, she has built a reputation for delivering high-quality, linguistically precise work across an exceptionally broad range of subject matters and content types.

In her current role, Eman translates and manages high-volume multilingual projects, reviews and proofreads Arabic translations, manages terminology databases, and handles post-editing of machine-translated content. She places strong emphasis on linguistic consistency and quality, ensuring that every deliverable meets the highest professional standards.

Eman’s specializations span an impressive range of domains, including legal, medical, technical, financial, software localization, marketing, educational curricula, games, UN and institutional content, fashion and e-commerce localization, transcreation, healthcare, and UI/UX and multimedia content. Her project work regularly includes website localization, legal contracts, medical reports, software UI strings, subtitles, e-learning modules, healthcare content, technical documentation, and marketing transcreation.

Before joining TranslationPartner, Eman held a series of senior roles that shaped her deep expertise in the field. She worked as a Translator and Team Leader at a leading publishing and cultural investments house in Dokki for five years, as a Senior Translator at a major localization group in Mohandessin for two years, as a Senior Reviewer at a leading translation and localization agency in Nasr City for five years, and as a Senior Translator and Reviewer at a global organization specializing in localization services in Cairo for eight years. Alongside these roles, she has worked as a freelance translator for international clients since 2005, reflecting the depth and continuity of her experience in the industry.

Throughout her career, Eman has worked with notable clients and brands including Microsoft, UNHCR, Oracle, Cambridge, Schneider Electric, Google, and SAP.

Eman has advanced proficiency across a wide array of CAT tools and localization platforms, including SDL Trados Studio, MemoQ, Memsource (Phrase), Smartling, XTM, Wordfast Pro, Passolo, Lilt, Bureau Works, Polyglot, Smartcat, Lokalise, Crowdin, Logoport, and Workspace, as well as QA and terminology tools such as Xbench, Verifika, MultiTerm, and SDL TM.

She has also contributed to the development of the broader translation community, having delivered a Translation Quality Workshop in Cairo in 2023 and localization training for new translators in 2010.
