Who it’s for

Who we translate Middle East languages for

Most of our Middle Eastern language work is for companies entering the region and for teams serving Arabic, Farsi and Dari speakers abroad.

Companies entering the region

Websites, product content, marketing and tenders for the Gulf, Türkiye and the Levant.

Law firms and compliance teams

Contracts, corporate documents and due diligence files in Arabic, Hebrew and Turkish.

Healthcare providers and NGOs

Patient information and community material for Arabic, Farsi and Dari speakers in the US and Europe.

Research teams and agencies

Surveys, interview transcripts and open-ended answers, and white-label work for translation agencies.

Getting it right

What to know about Middle East language projects

Right-to-left layout

Arabic, Farsi, Dari and Hebrew read right to left, while numbers and Latin brand names inside them run left to right. We check the mixed text in your final files, not only in the translation.

Modern Standard Arabic or dialect

Contracts and reports use Modern Standard Arabic. Marketing and voice content often read better in Gulf, Egyptian or Levantine Arabic. We agree the choice with you first.

Dari is not Farsi

Afghan and Iranian Persian share a core but differ in everyday words and spelling. We assign Afghan linguists for Dari and Iranian linguists for Farsi.

Calendars and dates

Iran and Afghanistan use the Solar Hijri calendar, and many Gulf documents carry Hijri dates. We convert dates to the Gregorian calendar in English and keep the original where you need it.
